What we do

Our advanced monitoring software, Factory Harmonizer (FH), combines process data flow, systems thinking and automated machine learning in a unique way to improve production efficiency. Our customers are process industry operators with complex production processes.

As of January 2023 we are part of Kemira Oyj, a global leader in sustainable chemical solutions for water intensive industries. We have an ambitious goal to grow to 40 million in revenue in the next 5 years and would like you to support that as part of our Technical Development Team.

We are looking for a  Software Project Manager to join our team!

We are currently in search for a (Senior) Software Project Manager to oversee our project management strategies, ensure the efficient execution of our internal software projects, and oversee the quality of our releases. You will focus primarily on the management aspects, guiding projects from conception through completion while ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. The role is not strictly predefined; you will have the opportunity to shape your responsibilities based on what you identify as necessary at different stages of our growth. 

In this role, the main goal is to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, contributing significantly to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owners to precisely define project scopes and objectives.

• Create, manage, and optimize project schedules, budgets, and plans.

• Oversee project operations with a strategic perspective, ensuring seamless integration with organizational objectives.
• QA is in the foundation skillset, understanding and emphasizing the importance of quality in deployments

• Promote the use of automation and other technological tools to enhance project execution and minimize manual oversight.

• Maintain effective communication across various teams, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.

• Proactively identify and address project risks, devising strategies to mitigate them effectively.

Skills and Experience Required:

• 3-7 years experience in successfully managing software projects, with understanding of QA principles.

• Ability to select and adapt methodologies to suit different project phases.

• Knowledge of modern project management tools, and Agile methodologies. (We are using Jira Cloud.)

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and implementing automation for efficiency.

• Strong proficiency in English, Finnish is a plus.

• Expertise in software development and release management tools.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality products.

• Independent working style with the capability to manage multiple projects and teams.

Our offices are located in Helsinki and in Tampere, but the job can be done from anywhere in Finland. We're also very flexible with the starting date. The monthly salary range is also flexible based on your skills, knowledge and experience. For a project manager level it is around 4500-5300 euros for PM and 5300-6000 euros for Senior PM per month.
